Our Story

In 2023, while preparing for and racing the Grindstone 100, co-founder Luke Sigle felt unorganized with inefficient drop bags that weren't designed for ultra-marathons. At the event, runners used everything from trash bags and plastic containers to cinch bags, coolers, and backpacks, highlighting the need for a better solution. Determined to create a purpose-built option, lifelong runners Luke and Leah Sigle began developing Crew Drop One, a compact, versatile bag designed to transform how athletes organize and manage their gear.

Inspired by farm silos, symbols of storage and protection for important products, SILO was officially founded in 2024. Our mission is to empower runners and athletes by providing solutions that simplify preparation, enhance efficiency, and elevate performance in training, competitions, and races.
